         LEED Certification :

LEED certification is a nationally recognized mark of distinction that demonstrates that a building is environmentally responsible, cost-effective and a healthy place to live and work. All LEED certified projects meet the highest sustainable design and performance measures and are both environmentally and financially beneficial.

As a part of the St. Paul’s redevelopment plan, the project team will incorporate green building features into the architectural design. The St. Paul’s team plans to include green roof features, passive and active solar power, water condensing air conditioning and a system to recycle waste heat in order to demonstrate their commitment to being an environmental steward and socially responsible neighbor.

These buildings are among the first mixed-use residential buildings in San Diego that will qualify for LEED certification.
